Black Louboutin shoes clicked off the cobbled street of the market place. Her perfectly sculpted hair remained in place under the oversized black sun hat. The black tight fitting corset like shirt and black business trousers hugged her figure nicely and was accessorized nicely with the latest black and white Chanel Jacket and pearls. The walk between the boutique and the jewellery store was a short one thankfully. She much preferred to drive but these cobbles would of ruined her white Maserati convertible's suspension.
As usual any men on the street stopped what they were doing to stare at her as she went by. Normally she would revel in the attention, flirt with the varies admirers till they started fighting over her but today was different. She had been having some strange dreams that had been keeping her up at night which put the already temperamental Victoria into a worse mood. There was also the added stress of having to run the family business's now her father had past. Her mind was distracted and no one could tell that under the make up and sunglasses were black bags.

After several nights of being unable to sleep Moggen had decided to visit her home, it wasn't strange for her to be away from home for so long and only come visit every now and then. She'd taken a ferry when she could no longer ride her bike, the trip across the Aegean sea had been quiet. The onyx haired beauty had spent her time alone, leaning against the rails of the fairy with her black leather jacket open and lips pursed in thought. She had been told this would happen, and that when it did it would happen just like this. Blinking against the wind she grabbed her black helmet, twisted the long tresses into a bun and pulled the helmet down over her head, her cerulean eyes glowing from within.
Straddling the sleek, red, Kawasaki Ninja bike she waited for the ferry to land; taking off after gunning the engine right towards Monastiraki Square. The trip there had been uneventful and she hadn't sensed what she was looking for until she passed a woman with expensive everything walking along. Angling her body she put the bike into a harsh turn, making the tires slide until her wright adjusted and she was heading right towards the pearled woman's destination; looking like a reckless driver who had passed the location they ought to be in.

She paid no heed to the sound of the engine that echoed up the street, far to concerned with herself to pay any attention to anyone else. She did raise a brow as it passed her though. It was a danger and if it was a regular thing, she was certain it would affect business negatively and she couldn't have that. She made a mental note of the bike and would remind herself later to contact the authorities later about the nuisance.
As the dust settled, she reached into her white leather Chanel handbag and pulled a small compact mirror. To her relief her hair and clothes remained in immaculate condition, she didn't have time to go home and change should the outfit be tarnished in any way. Strangely the rider came to a sudden halt and turned around to what would appear to be another ride down the street. The rider was more then likely male and was coming back for a second look at her. Her smile never faltered although if you were close enough you could see her jaw tighten ever so slightly as she sighed. " Men such predictable creatures " she said to herself as she continued to her destination.

The second time around in passing the woman Moggen blatantly turned to watch her. The glowing blue of her eyes would leave a flashing blue trail. She continued on down the street to a jewelry atore where she slowed down upon approach and parked her bike. She sat up straight and removed her gloves one by one while her head turned bacl up the street to watch the woman. She noticed the compact and her head cocked a little, still wearing the helmet though it was obvious where she was looking.
After a few more moments of watching, she turned the bike off and dismounted with her back to the other female and her expensive clothes. Black designer jeans hugged her curvacious hips and as she reached up to pull the helmet off the small of her waist and partial lower back was wxposed. She had perfect pale cream colored skin, and as her helmet was remived the ebony colored hair fell out like a waterfall breaking through a dam. Her fingers were long and tapered, yet she didn't turn to stare at the other female, instead she secured her helmet and tucked the keys back into her pockets, unzipped her jacket and headed inside.

As the bike sped past her once again, the rider was blatantly watching her. She smirked a little letting him think it was for him. She only took her eyes away from her compact when she caught a streak of blue in the corner of her eye. Her gaze lingered on the rider as he headed to the jewellery store. She chuckled a little. " He's keen. " she whispered to herself.
Her pace remained steady as she approached teh jewellery store and the rider dismounted. To her surprise, it was a woman who underneath that helmet. ' What an interesting turn of events. ' she thought to herself. ' Probably an irate girlfriend. ' as the thought crossed her head, her mood was darkened even more. She didn't want business mixing with pleasure unless of course it was to her advantage.
Stepping onto the familiar marbled flooring, she removed her glasses and her hat revealing the fashionable ponytail with a twist she had her hair in. She noticed the dutiful assistants moving from their posts to attend to her but she held her hand out to stop them. She approached the woman and put on a perfect smile and a sweet welcoming tone. She had never worked a real day in her life but she had picked up a few tricks in customer service over the years. " Welcome madame. Are you looking for anything in particular? "

The attendants began bustling and moving towards the door, it was only then that Moggen turned around from speaking in hushed tones with one of the sales people. The striking part of her face were her eyes, they were bright and ever glowing. A dark cerulean with rings of sky blue wjich when shadowed against her dark lashes cast a glow in the shape of crescent moons against the apploes of her cheeks. The dark hair only set them off further, and her full lips were slightly parted; it was obvious she didn't need or wear much make up with the way her eyes already seemed rimmed in black.
Moggen didn't return the smile, only continued to watch the woman's face transform into a smile. Stepping a little to the side it was revealed that a gem matching Moggen's eyes lay cradled in a red velvet pillow on the glass counter. It was round on one end and thinned out to a point int the other, shaping a perfect teardrop. "It is proven this is one of the best jewelers. Is setting a gem an offered service?"

She kept the smile on her face as the woman kept her cool exterior. There was something about her that Victoria couldn't put her finger on. She found it hard to take her eyes off her eyes that seemed to glow but she shook it off and kept her composure. It made her dislike her more so then she usually disliked certain people. But she was a customer and business was business.
She spotted the gem and moved to towards the back of the glass case. " Depending on what you wish to have your gem set in then yes of course. Would you like to see this one? " she asked as she pulled the sapphire onto the top of the counter. She noticed the security guard shift his position and move closer towards the door. She would be suspicious of someone with a helmet and motorcycle too.
" It's a beautiful gem. A 2.5 carat sapphire with a stunning blue hue, as you can see the saturation is bright, that is what's creating that amazing color you are seeing. " she spoke like a true expert and in a sense she was, she knew quality when she saw it. " What were you thinking of having it set in? I think a gem like this would be suited to a pendant, white gold or platinum chain. We have many settings from you to choose from if you would like to see them. " she was the epitome of the perfect sales woman, every bit her fathers daughter.

Moggen watched the woman move behind the counter after they had been staring at each other for a long moment, it wasn't uncommon for people to be trapped in her gaze or find it hard to move away. Once they did break free they rarely ever locked eyes with her again; she often found it curious as to why they shied away but after asking so many and getting no answers she dropped the subject and accepted it as a primordial instinct. The security guard moving towards the door made her look at him and stop him dead in his tracks. It was obvious that the simple "what are you doing" look made him uncomfortable.
Ignoring him Moggen turned back towards the woman behind the counter, seeing her withdraw a sapphire and explain its value. She had no need for such a gem, however not replying would imply she had bad manners and that was something highly untrue "It's a nice enough gem, but not what is being sought out. The Lapis has more worth to Moggen than a 2.5 carat Sapphire. She would like a simple setting, pendant style on white gold. The chain needs to be three strands intertwined in a certain pattern and the bindings of the stone need to be specific as well." Reaching into her jacket pocket she pulled out a folded sheet of paper and slid it across the counter. At this proximity the woman would notice that the stone brought in was the same color as Moggen's eyes and that her eyes and the stone glowen in reaction to one another. Upon opening the folded sheet of paper the woman behind the counter would see the design was of a complex Celtic knotting and that there were wire-like threads in three different shades of gold -white, gold and blue- criss-crossing over the stone with a butterfly made of wire and painted a deep black and blue on its wings on the upper left hand corner of the bindings and one on the lower right hand corner.

She nodded as the woman spoke. She had to admit she was impressed. The woman knew what she wanted and she respected that. She wasn't sure who this Moggen was though. It was more then likely her employer, that would explain the bike for starters. She took the papers that the woman had handed her. They were very detailed, something the smiths would be happy about with custom orders. She smiled at the woman again. " Just a moment. " she excused herself as she placed the sapphire back into the case.
She moved towards a back room and entered a security code. Once in the room, she swiftly made her way to a filing cabinet that again had an electric lock. Finding an order book she skimmed through the pages until she found what she was looking for. She took the sheet from the portfolio and locked the cabinet again and left the room. She rejoined the woman and placed the order with a picture in front of her. " This lapis is scheduled to come in next week. I think it will meet to Moggen's taste. I can send these designs to the smiths and once I hear back from them I can have someone call you and give you a date of completion unless you need it for a particular date or event. If that's the case I can put a rush on it. " she waited patiently to judge the woman's reaction. As easy as it was to design her piece it can often be hard to please customers who had such a specific request.

While the woman was away Moggen looked around the cases at other jewels, sje wasn't concerned with the philosopher's stone being stolen. It was easy enough to track but there was however a limit to how long she could go without it. Whrn the woman returned Moggen was standing where she originally had been, the only witnesses to her having moved around were the guard, the security camera and the pick-pocket that had entered the room a few moments ago.
Looking down at the image of the Lapis Moggen looked back up at the woman somewhat confused. A misunderstanding was about to take place and she would have to correct the grave error. Gently and discreetly she pushed the image away with a mild shake of her head and then proceeded to pick up the stone she had brought in. "This stone is the Lapis Philosophorum, it's the only stone that needs to be put on the necklace. And it is needed in three days. Can it be done?"

She held her forced smile as she eyed the gem that the woman had brought it. It glowed strangely and she had assumed it was some kind of knock off or a cheap trick. But there was no convincing her, she had shown her far superior gems in an effort to sell them but she had her heart set on the gem she had brought. " Three days? I am sure if we put a rush on it and express how urgent it is it won't be to much of a problem. "
She pulled out an order form and filled in a few details before looking back up at the woman. " Can I get your full name please and a means of contact so we can call when it's ready? " she had to admit she was rather impressed with herself and her professionalism. Spending all that time shopping had proven good for something. She was also curious about who this mysterious woman was and getting her details would be a very good way of finding out.

"Moggen Dakishi Black, put the call into the agency and charge it all to this."Reaching into her back pocket Moggen pulled out one of the famous Black Cards that only celebrities or very few people with extremely good credit would ever be invited to. She handed the credit card over to the jeweler to take the information down and then offered the business card for a modeling agency with a direct line to her agent."Either way, Moggen will be by to pick it up on the third day an hour prior to this place's closing time; but if you feel you must have all information then here it is."

She started to write down the unusual name when she spotted a familiar looking credit card. The woman suddenly became a lot more intriguing to her, she must be the assistant to this Moggen she thought as she kept referring to her in the third person. She finished writing down all the details and in a red pen wrote 'V.I.P RUSH' on the bottom. She retrieve a box that would adequately fit the gem she had been given and carefully placed it on it's pillow in the box.
She quickly swiped the card through the credit card machine that had been handed to her by one of the assistants. She took the design of the piece and stapled them to the order slip and she handed the assistant the box and the order slip for immediate delivery to the smiths.
She smiled at the woman and went to hand her the credit card and her copy of the order. " That is everything for now. Here's your card and your copy of the order. If Moggen has any questions or concerns she can contact me directly on this number. " she normally didn't hand her card out to just anyone but she wanted to meet this Moggen. " Is there anything else I can help you with? "she asked as she was now growing bored of serving other people and wanted to do some shopping of her own.

"Yes, thank you." Taking the order and receipt she looked it over quickly before looking at Victoria one last time. Moggen still didn't smile, she did however give a polite nod; turning away she strode to the pickpocket who was walking towards the door. Swiftly she grabbed him by the back of the neck and with conxealed strength for her frail body flipped him onto his back. Following him down into a crouch she stuck her hand into his coat pocket and pulled the necklace they had shown him minutes before which he had put into his person when the atyendant had turned to see if Victoria needed help.
Straightening with a diamond encrusted necklace in hand, she handed it off to the security guard. Hereyes never left the pickpocket on the floor and a dark aura filled the room accompanied by a low rumbling that sounded suspiciously like a dog's growl. "Moggen will see him in the afterlife." The last words were meant for the pickpocket alone, and leaving behind a stunned guard, and a baffled but afraid thief she stepped out of the jewelers shop, got on her bike and sped off.

" Oh my god! " she said a little stunned as she watched the woman pin the young man down to the ground. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on but for a moment it looked like she was robbing the man as she rummaged through his pocket. Then she seen her pull out a necklace that she knew as being one that belonged to the store.
She stared at disbelief at the woman who had so skillfully taken the man down before she handed the piece back to the security guard. Then was given another shock when the strange woman spoke. It was such a bizarre thing to say but her tone sent a strange sensation through her body. A strange image ran through her head of a great lighting storm but she quickly brushed it off not wanting to think of such things at a time like this.
By the time she had refocused her mind Moggen had left and the security guard had secured the man and brought him to the back room. " Are you alright Ms Murcia? " said a voice from beside her. She turned to see the assistant who seemed a little concerned and nodded. " Of course I am fine. I will be leaving now, that's quite enough excitement for one day. " she stated as she grabbed her hat and left.
She walked briskly away from the store and headed towards the upscale boutique area. Shopping would certainly take her mind off whatever had just happened. She relaxed as she entered the familiar street but was shocked as when she noticed a new billboard on the street. It was the same woman from the store. It seemed that she was in fact this Moggen that she spoke of. " Who refers to themselves in the third person and who is this girl? " she said aloud to herself. The more she learned about this girl the more she took an unknown disliking to her.

Three days had passed since she had gone to the jeweler and now she was sitting outside in a limousine with her hair curled into long ebony ringlets draping around her face, back and shoulders. At the crown of her head as a blue flower hair pin holding the waterfall of curls together. She wore a strapless short white dress with an empire waist and a single big black bow tying at the front just beneath the breasts. Her feet had black pumps on and she had a clutch purse of silver in hand. The man beside her was a thin, wiry man who twitched at every bump in the road. He looked haggard and like he had too much coffee. Mumbling as he slid out of the limousine Moggen looked up at the sign of the building then sat back; her dazzling electric blue eyes glowing against her pale features which held just a dash of blush, a bit of eyeliner and some mascara.
Inside the jewelers the publicist made his way to one of the attendants. ”I’m here to pick up Miss Black’s Lapis necklace.” He saw the way the attendant was looking at him, and just as he suspected he was denied being given the item in question. The anger soon rose and he began to point at the attendant, growing ever nervous and angry at the lack of respect he was being shown. ”Listen here lassie, I have someone waiting outside and if she has to come in here I’m going to sue you and your company. I have the damn receipt!” Growing irate he slammed the order form on the counter and jabbed his finger into the paper, tearing the paper a little with his overgrown nail.

She was sitting in the back room at the desk going over the order books and catalogs looking for a piece or set to wear to her party. She sat in the swivel car with her legs crossed in a Calvin Klein crisp white dress with cylindrical sleeves and a black belt around her waist. It was professional looking yet modern and edgy.
She was disrupted from her browsing by a disturbance outside. The word " sue " rang in her ears and caused her to get to her feet. Thankfully it was a male who seemed to be complaining and she figured that she could work her usual charms and settle the whole business in two minutes flat.
She quickly examined herself in her compact mirror and reapplied her red lipstick and put her hair in a french roll before leaving. Stepping out into the display room she smiled at the irate gentleman. She placed her hand on the attentants shoudler " Trisha I will take this from here. " and as the girl walked away she turned to address the male. " Sir what seems to be the problem? Maybe I can help? " she said with a slightly flirty tone to her voice. She had seen the receipt with her own writing on it and realized it was the pendant for this mysterious Moggan. She glanced at the clock on the wall, an hour before closing just as she had said but she had stated it would be her who would pick it up. Maybe this man could fill her in on this Moggen as well.

The publicist looked up and recoiled from the woman that appeared, he held the paper up in front of him like it would shield him from some great evil. "I know your tricks Aphrodite and they won't work on me! Just give me Miss Black's pendant and we'll be on our way." The man was chattering much like a loon, and his hands were quivering from fear. Then he started to breathe through his mouth, as if not wanting to inhale her scent.
It was at this moment and quite conveniently that Moggen walked through the front doors; the heels of her pumps clicking with her footsteps. She looked nothing like the biker that Victoria had met three days ago. Calmly Moggen placed her hand on the publicist's shoulder. "Go back to the limousine John, Moggen can handle this situation." Gently she took the order form from him and after watching John make his way back towards the limo she turned to look at Victoria. "Don't mind John, he is a publicist and has been nervous about upcoming bookings. Not much sleep is gained from dealing with overly demanding clients."

She stared quite dumbfounded at the man who seemed to genuinely fear her. She was used to having an affect on men but she had never seen one recoil in terror as he had and not to mention him calling her Aphrodite. She didn't know whether it was a compliant or not but there was definitely something wrong with him.
" Sir, I'm Victoria Murcia. I own this store. I .... " before she could explain the situation and try to make sense of the situation Moggen walked in. She looked more like the covergirl she was being betrayed to be in the public eye. She kept her calm even in the face of the mans clear insanity but he too gave that weird sensation the Moggen gave her.
As he left she refocused her attention on Moggen who seemed to always refer to herself in the third person. She was suspicious of her now and couldn't put on finger on why. It bothered her immensely more then anything had before. She just couldn't shake the feeling that Moggen gave her. " Ms Black, I hope your friend will be ok. He does seem frazzled as you mentioned. But you will be pleased to know that your piece is ready. " as she spoke the girl addressed as Trisha appeared with the sealed box.
She carefully unsealed revealing a red velvet box on the inside big enough to hold the pendant. She herself was curious to see how it had turned out hence her presence in the store. She set it down on the counter and then opened the lid to reveal the necklace. It wasn't at all to her style but the smiths really had out done themselves on this piece and she appreciated quality. " I hope it is to you liking Ms Black. " she added allowing her time to examine the piece.

Moggen watched the girl bring the jewelry case, she allowed the owner to open it; knowing what she would see. Once it was revealed, Moggen picked up the stone and chain, running her fingers along the woven gold. It wasn't as heavy as she suspected it to be, and the stone reacted to her core the way it always did. It was in fact Moggen reacting to the stone. The color of her eyes began to pulse as the light from the stone also pulsed in reaction to one another. The moment of truth and revelation was when the butterflies began to flutter their wings.
There was a small lift to her mouth as she smiled, her suspicions were confirmed. Looking up she nodded to Victoria. "Compliments to the smiths that created this. It is as was expected and more. Moggen will refer her acquaintances and co-workers to this jeweler from now on. Well done." Instead of putting the stone back into the box, Moggen clasped the lock behind her neck and set the stone against her chest. She felt complete and with the uniting of the two, the power coursing through Moggen's body became more intense. Her eyes and the heart glowing like the steady thrumming of a heartbeat.

She was pleased to see that Moggen was happy with the piece as she placed it around her neck but she couldn't help but notice that the necklace and her eyes were glowing. She tried not to stare as she placed the box in a store bag. She eyed her signature black envelope with a gold pinstripe. These envelopes were famous around the area and coveted by those up and coming stars, not to mention the wannabes. These were exclusive invites to often what were considered the hottest parties in the whole of Greece.
She doubted for a moment whether she should give her one, she didn't feel entirely comfortable with her but appearances meant more then anything to her and this girls face was everywhere. She carefully slipped the invite into the bag away from the assistants prying eyes and then placed it back on the table. " I will be sure to tell the smiths how pleased you were Ms Black and I hope I will be seeing you again soon. " It sounded like an ordinary farewell now but it would be clearer to her later what she meant when she opened the sealed envelope. This was definitely going to be one of her more interesting parties.

Moggen took the offered bag from Victoria, the small power display had faded and her eyes as well as the glow of the stone had returned to normal. With the bag hanging off the inside of her elbow like a handbag, Moggen opened the clutch purse and pulled out a small card. It looked like one of the "Thank you" cards bought at some convenience store in size only. It was obvious that it was a formal invitation for Victoria. It even had her name scrawled on there in elegant script, and the paper was actual papyrus. "There is a photo shoot scheduled for three weeks from today where the piece will be featured; the theme is Greek Goddesses. This is the invitation in case you are interested for the role of Aphrodite. That is why John referred to you as Aphrodite."
Moggen set the invitation down on the counter and nodded to her, all the contact information was on the inside with a date and location as well as a number to all the photographer to schedule a meeting prior to the actual date. Moggen didn't mention that she had told the photographer about Victoria's beauty, she didn't feel any need to boast about her connections in the least.

A hint of surprise appeared on her face as Moggen spoke of a modelling job. Of course she wasn't surprised that she would be picked to portray the most beautiful Greek Goddess of them all. She was more surprised that Moggen had offered it to her. " hmm I will see what I can do. " she replied as she took the envelope from the counter. She was still slightly confused as to this John's terror towards her but given Moggen's explanations she thought no more about it.
Looking at the card, she read all the details and looked back up at Moggen. " Will you be participating in this photo shoot Moggen? " she ashed. Seeing as their business transaction was over she felt no need to refer to her as Ms Black any longer.

"Yes, Moggen will be portraying Persephone. There will be males at the shoot as well. That isn't a problem, is it?" With the way John had reacted to Victoria and the woman's baffled reaction in turn, this was the perfect setup to simply confirm everything she already knew. Hades had tasked her with being the neutral party in all of this and she already knew how it would unfold; that was why the invitation was being given out on a precise date and time.
As Victoria spoke to her, Moggen realized that she had dropped the formalities and had resigned herself to calling Moggen by her first name only instead of going by only her last name as propriety demanded. Not that it bothered the hound in the least.

" Persephone? Hmm sounds interesting and who knows it might even be fun." she said aloud, half to Moggen half aloud to herself. She had to admit Moggen did make her feel uneasy but then sense told her that Moggen had really done nothing to feel that way, not that she listened to sense much either. Not to mention the thought of getting her hands on some male models sounded like an afternoon well spent not to mention a night if things went her way, which they always did.
She moved from behind the glass counter and grabbed her hand bag. She moved towards the front door. " Should you really be leaving your nervous friend for so long? " she didn't really care about her friend but she was trying to move the girl along now. Her nail appointment was in 15 minutes.
