Parnitha is a densely forested mountain range north of Athens, the highest on the peninsula of Attica. Much of the mountain is designated a national park, and is a protected habitat for wildfowl. Known for bushfires especially a large one which gutted a lot of land in 2007.
Many a beast lurk within so keep your eyes open you never know what may be watching you.
